State Senator Dan Cronin (R-Elmhurst) and students from Elmhurst’s Sandburg Middle School stand before a science project the students submitted to Tech 2005 fair. Every year, hundreds of Illinois students travel to the State Capitol for the annual event, which gives state lawmakers the chance to see how Illinois classrooms incorporate new technologies. The Sandburg students developed a computer-based math learning project designed to help children familiarize themselves with mathematical concepts.
